Today  Maltby Town Council will vote to co – opt someone onto the council.

It is a shame that Maltby people can not know who has shown an interest in the vacancy and who will be co opted until after a decision has been made, presumably by a closed council.

For those in Maltby who rarely get to know what MTC are discussing till after the event this of course is nothing new. Democracy at it’s worst again.

So who will be co opted ?  It’s anyone’s guess.

But for heavens sake please may the “best person” win… for the sake of Maltby now and in the future.
