With every day that goes by there appears to be more examples of Rotherham Borough Council and it’s councillors behaving in a manner which is unprofessional, inadequate, in some cases illegal and in all cases embarrassing.

How long can this council and it’s Labour supporters continue to take charge of this town when the situation is so awful?

maltbyblogger’s opinion is that our MPs have gone way beyond the rose tinted spectacles analogy and are in fact plain and simply untruthful. Our Rother Valley  MP Kevin Barron is as elusive as the infamous Scarlet Pimpernel, but without the heroic or honourable actions of the character to his credit. He ignores letters and emails from his constituents and does not return phone calls. Currently he is selling his house in his “home town” and no doubt he will be missing from his monthly “surgeries” more often.
The councillors that purport to represent us at Maltby Town Council and at RMBC – Amy Rushforth, Christine Beaumont and parachutist Maggie Godfrey – all seem to operate on a different plane to us and are still yet to make any announcement as to what they think about the child grooming scandal in Rotherham or what their view is on what should be done.
As much use as the well – scathed chocolate teapot. But at least the teapot has a certain pleasantness about it. This lot have nothing of the kind.
