ROTHERHAM residents are being offered the chance to give their views on where new housing should be built in the borough over the next 15 years.
Rotherham Borough Council says it needs to build 12,750 new homes by 2027, which could affect about 1,000 acres of green belt land.
Public drop-in sessions will be held between May and July for the public to air their views on the Local Plan document which sets out the council’s proposals.
Briefings will also take place with parish councils, MPs and other interested groups. Documents will be placed in libraries and letters sent to homes within 100 metres of proposed sites.
The Local Plan drop-in session for Maltby will be on
Monday, June 10, at Maltby Full Life Church from 2.30pm to 6.30pm
(from the Advertiser)
mb shall endeavour to find a copy of the plan before this date. Grateful to anyone who can provide a link to the proposed document.
