Postponed till they know when the Government Commissioners will arrive ? 

How about us knowing who the commissioners are before then too ? 

The meeting  in which councillors were set to consider a proposed budget and council tax for the coming year has been postponed by two days.

Rotherham Borough Council’s Cabinet meeting had been scheduled for next Wednesday 25th but will now take place at 10.30am on Friday, February 27th

A borough council spokeswoman said: “The short postponement is to give the authority further time to seek clarification about the arrival of the Government-appointed Commissioners, while adhering to the legalities of providing appropriate notice of meetings and reports during the budget-setting process.”
