As stated in a previous post on here, there are more important issues going on in my family life at the moment than keeping up to date with the ins and outs of Maltby Town Council and Maltby and Rotherham councils in general.

It was brought to my attention the other day however, that a certain David Brennan, ex-MTC councillor had posted a couple of libellous comments about me on a Facebook Maltby community page. After a short repartee, the comments and indeed the whole thread in which they were included were removed. Now, long time readers of wwwrite-place.blogspot.com   will remember that this man has a history of making untrue and derogatory statements about me on online forums, to the Rotherham Advertiser, the Maltby News and various other publications – see write-place  archives 2008/9/10/posts and information regarding this.  Names of “colleagues” of Mr Brennan who also participated in the abuse are in the posts.

I then noticed that on the same Facebook page, names of councillors were mentioned that I had not known were councillors and on looking at the MTC website, can’t see the names of a Councillor Heaps, Councillor Laws and a Councillor Spilsbury.

So, what are the names of the current 18 Maltby Town Councillors, when were they elected/co opted, and how long will it be before the website gives us this information ?
